Senmove is dedicated to ensuring that students with special educational needs (SEN) have access to the highest quality learning opportunities. Senmove is a UK organisation providing professional development courses for professionals working in SEN and we also teach students with SEN directly in the Senmove range of activities.

Our work is predominantly aimed at those working with students in the PMLD, SLD, ASD and MSI ability ranges. Our professional development courses and direct teaching focus on ways to develop your students’ skills in the following areas: personal learning thinking skills (PLTS); communication; perception; cognition; and functional life skills via PE & Movement and the Outdoors.

Our professional development courses have been developed by Russell Walker (B.Ed Hons/P.G. Dip) and are based upon his experience as a teacher in various special needs schools, including his role as Head of PE at Linden Lodge School, London.

“Russell combines his expert knowledge, practical experience and a sense of fun to deliver the best training we’ve ever had” Tim Richmond, AST & SSCO, London.

We are pleased to be working in partnership with the Association of Physical Education (AfPE). Their Professional Development Board has awarded Senmove their ‘Approved Provider Status’.

Our Senmove Trampoline Practitioner Course  is offered with accreditation by OCN (Open College Network).

Our Senmove Practitioner Course leads to the Active IQ Certificate in Teaching Physical Activities to Children.
